A new Alteration Page is Live

I have written a L-o-n-g page on how to alter the waist in a pair of khaki pants. It includes instructions for adding a seam to the waistband. You can use these same directions to take in the waistband in a pair of jeans. Check it out at LearningAlterations.com and see what you think!

  1. Usually I panic when I read alteration instructions - they are so technical and heartless and I just feel that I must be so non tech & too hopeless to follow them. Yours are different; they are sympathetic, human, and you understand that not everyone was born with a sewing machine reflexes in their genes. It's a pleasure reading you, I hope you expand & maybe write a book. Thanks!
