Don't forget to check out the videos I have posted. Each is only $5.00. There are 3 so far. Click on the name of the video. It's toward the top of the left column. Your choices are "Take in Jean Waist", "Rolled Hem Video" and "Add Gusset to Skirt Video". You will get a brief preview of the video. If you decide to buy, you can pay through PayPal or with your own credit/debit card. I have more in the works, so stay tuned and thanks again for reading the blog and website.

Sometimes Your Favorite Doll Needs a Little Lovin'

Not all of my customers have fitting problems to be solved. This week a lady had an heirloom doll that she loved as a child. Somewhere along the years she lost her apron. She wanted my help creating a new one, as close to the old one as possible.

We'll start with a photo of the finished product. I got some photos off the internet so I could see what the apron was supposed to look like. Some versions had a little eyelet detail, but we opted for the plain version.

I made the straps of the sash long enough to tie in a cute bow.

I angled the straps so they would keep the apron on Raggety's shoulders. Raggety Ann is good to go.

Even Pattern Printers Make Mistakes

IMG 0848

I'm trying out a new software program. I'd like to post more often, but handling my images is cumbersome and time consuming.
This software should help with that.

Enjoy your upcoming holidays and I'll be posting soon.
Thanks for your patience.
